THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF GRAPHIC ARTS (AIGA)

In 2014, AIGA celebrated it's centennial as an organization focused on design.

As part of this celebration, AIGA National held a competition for it's regional chapters. The goal was for each chapter to contribute a design or illustration for a chair. The winning chairs were showcased in an exhibition in New York City, NY.

AIGA Dallas/Fort Worth held a Facebook voting competition and this chair was the winning design.

The title of the chair is "Under the Influence".

The concept is to show that AIGA has been under the influence of design for 100 years.
