YLANG 23
Ylang 23 (formerly Ylang Ylang) is a high-end jewelry store located in Dallas, Texas that sells various artist's designs.
The design for the brand is inspired by the philosophy of the store owner who believes that you should buy several pieces that represent you're personality and energy to "create your own collection".
Consumer touchpoints designed for the store include direct mail postcards, ads placed in local high-end publications, billboards, and store window displays. Whenever possible metallic inks were used to add depth added visual interest to the materials; the paper system is an example of this.
For their 20th year in business, an anniversary celebration was thrown and event materials were designed. These materials included a postcard book invitation, using metallic inks and a fun and sophisticated color palette, to convey the luxury of the celebration.
